“Submitting route and environment notes has been simple and well organized. The workflow fits naturally into my training.”
The assignments are straightforward and easy to follow. Each task connects directly to real fieldwork, which makes the process feel meaningful.
Feedback collected from active athletes in the program.
Gain experience evaluating real-world running routes, surfaces, and terrain changes that support our VRIL data models.
Document weather, visibility, crowd density, and surface conditions during your sessions — key inputs for VPEP research.
Share training feedback, pacing observations, and route usability notes that help shape our Athlete Experience Platform (VAEP).
For athletes who cycle, contribute elevation, traffic-flow, and multi-surface assessments to broaden our route database.
Join a network of runners, cyclists, and outdoor athletes working together to provide field-based performance insights.
Being able to complete assignments during normal sessions makes the program easy to maintain.
The task format gives clarity on what to look for — elevation, surface, traffic — without adding unnecessary workload.
“The daily tasks blend well with my runs and rides. Clear instructions every time.”
“I pay attention to route details I never noticed before — helpful for my own training too.”
“The submission process is simple, and the weekly pacing makes it manageable with my schedule.”
Athletes complete structured, field-based assignments related to route analysis, environmental conditions, and performance insights. Tasks include route mapping, terrain and elevation reporting, environment scans, and periodic gear-testing assignments (apparel, footwear, hydration/nutrition products). All submissions feed our VRIL, VPEP and VAEP research streams.
Assignments are designed to fit around your existing training. Complete tasks at a time that suits you and take rest days as required — missed assignments simply roll forward. Frequency is light and consistent (one clear task per active day), not punitive.
Athletes are paid weekly. Your payment method is set during enrollment (direct deposit, checks, or other supported options).
